Different ‘last active’ times for same user throughout site

    Hello awesome people

I have found an issue where my members show different times for when they were last online on different places on the site. For instance, taking my own profile as example, on the domain/members page it shows last online 3hrs ago, but on the right sidebar is shows last active minutes ago.

    Have you seen this before?

    Thank you!

Hi Davis thank you very much. I went there and it seems that those are applied at site level only? The issue appears to be that different member sections have different time stamps when users were last online. Perhaps I am missing something there?

    Regards,
    Anna

Are you using a cache plugin?
If so, try clearing all caches.

But please note that you are probably referring to 2 separate items.

afaik, last online is not a BuddyPress feature, and is being added by your theme, a plugin or some custom code.

And last active is generated by BuddyPress.

So, if last active is accurate, but last online is not, then please contact the creator of that code.

    Hi Shane,

Thanks a million for taking the time to respond. I deactivated the cache plugin but that didn’t seem to fix it. I am not sure how to determine which plugin is associated with the creation of last online so will find a developer online to help me (I’m not technical at all ;-)).

    Regards,
    Anna
