Events Plugin Invites / Notifications

Has anyone managed to get this working?
I’m using Dave Aubins modified version of Bp-events which does work really well. But When I invite people, firstly the Ajax doesnt work, a -1 appears. Then the people don’t get an email inviting them, they also don’t get a notification.
I’ve had a look in the MySQL Tables and the row’s aren’t even created.

Can anyone help me fix this?

@Troy Hi — logged in here after a long time, sorry for the lack of reply.

I’m working on a completely new plugin from scratch, not using the existing BP Events plugin so I’m afraid I have no idea about fixing notifications.

@Kunalb, I’m glad to hear that you will be working on an events plugin. Buddypress is in deperate need of one. Do you know when you will have it finished roughly?

@Mark: Sorry for being so late to reply, but I tend to check @ messages rarely here. As this is my GSoC project — I should be done by 16th August.
