Filter/sort the activity stream dynamically

    Hey everyone!
    I was wondering if there was a way to have user-selectable links to filter/sort the activity stream? Doesn’t even have to be done via AJAX if it’s too difficult. Basically I want to have a small filter placed above my activity stream that lets’ users select things like:

    Featured
    Most Recent
    Today
    Last 7 Days
    Last 30 Days

    Any ideas on how to do this? Any plugins available? I have searched, but haven’t found anything.
