Hide or erase Sub replies

Hello Buddypress community

I want to hide the sub replies button, i found old thread about it (https://buddypress.org/support/topic/how-to-remove-sub-reply-button/), but i guess 4 years after the code has change a bit 😉

If someone could be able to give me the code to modify into the template or a function? That could be really nice.

This comment was kind of on the right track but as most of the people pointed out in that topic, editing core files is a very bad idea.

Instead, you should take a look at this article to familiarise yourself with the Template Hierarchy. That way, you can remove the ‘reply’ link and be sure your modifications will remain after you upgrade BuddyPress.

Hello and thank you for fast answer 😉 I will have a look at this link for sure.

Unfortunatly i am not that good with php, so i hope i will be able to create the function myself

You won’t need to create a function 🙂
