How to Allow Uploading Avatar on Registration step(request-details step)

hi all

The title may sound a little bit vague.I have searched through the forum and could not find a solution.

I am working with buddypress 1.1.1 and wpmu 2.8.4a

In buddypress 1.1.1 ,the uploading of avatar is allowed on the second step of registration and It works perfectly.

My problem is,I want to upload the avatar image on the signup page(first step where basic details are asked,request-details step)(and want to allow cropping on second step).Let me say ,something which was happening earlier in bp 1.0.3

Is there a way to make it happen with bp 1.1.1.I have gone through the new registration page and the bp-core/bp-core-signup.php,But I am unable to do it ,as buddypress is throwing errors(I think that is because of nonce,as It says “Do you really want to do this”)

I will highly appreciate any suggestion.

At the moment you would need to code your own registration functions to work in place of the BuddyPress ones to do this. Basically a copy and paste job and rearrange the registration steps to work how you want them to, then call the custom functions in your template instead of the BuddyPress ones.
