Links plugin not working properly on install?

I downloaded the Buddy Press Links plugin, created a page, made certain the links was pointing to that page and it says it needs to be repaired, regardless.

Also, the create new link goes to an error page http://site.com/links/create/

Help?

There have been some problems with the BuddyPress Links plugin post BP 2.2 release. Check of this thread for some more info on the problem. I’m not sure if the developer has managed to resolve yet, perhaps it’s worth opening a ticket on his support forum.
