Nickname on register page is hidden

    Hi rené

    when xprofile component is activated, the only field who should appear on register page is Name (in Base group field). There is no setting for this because it is mandatory !

    Check visibility settings of Name first, and deactivate contact-form7 and see if field comes back.

    Thanks for your answer. Unfortunately, it did not appear.

    There is no visibility setting in the name. A colleague of mine changed this field from Name to nickname last week. Could this be a reason. I redefined it to Name again.

    I also deactivated contact form 7 but nothing happened at the sign-up page.

    I also deactivated the xprofile component and reactivated it, but it keeps still the same.

    Base field name can be modified (from Name to Whatever), you’re right there are no visibility settings for this (required) group.

    If you made some custom work, (in bp-custom or theme’s functions.php) it’s important to revert back to original code first.

    You use Profildetails as group title. Is this the modified Base name ?
    On Boss live demo, Name is appearing.

    Have you tested with another theme like 2015 ?
