Pictures not showing up.

    I have a buddypress site hosted on a private domain. I’ve been trying to add some photo functionality so my users can share their pictures in albums etc on their profiles.

    I have tried a few different plugins but mainly Buddypress Album and BP Photos+tags. I get the same problem from either of them, the plug in installs fine, the album tab appears, the picture is uploaded fine, but then it just doesn’t appear. Any simple solutions to this problem please?

    When I say private domain, I just mean not on the WordPress servers.

    Deactivate BuddyPress and BP plugins. Can you add a regular WP image gallery to your Posts/Pages? Are the images showing up in published posts/pages?

    Thanks for the fast reply. I seem to be able to post pictures and use the gallery function that is built in the standard Buddypress plugin (including images in posts), but when I try to use BP Album or BP Photos+tags I encounter the problem.

    Here is my site : http://www.northernlive.co.uk

    @kramugs I’ve deleted that link, could you briefly explain what you think the solution is and then how the link helps – as it stood the link looked to have no relation to the topic in hand especially given the query appended ‘?=african mango’

    Just discovered this in the Plugin documentation, ‘If you get broken links when viewing images in BP-Album, it means your server is sending the wrong base URL to the plugin. You can use the image URL re-mapping function to fix this.’ I will see if I can sort that out……

    @Hugo I don’t think @kramugs was being particularly helpful.

    Can’t seem to fix it by using that image URL re-mapping function, but I do think it is a broken link issue, as the files are all stored fine on the ftp.
