  • Don’t modify core files.

    You add new fields to registration from the backend in the BuddyPress menu area. just fill out what you want and they get added automagically.

    197 Countries in a drop-down list will take a bit of time=)

    Just one question – how do you change “name” to “full name” , because I don’t think you can edit that from Buddypress menu area?

    does the result get added to usermeta or xprofile fields?

    Hi, not really sure what either of those are =)

    But it is added to sign-up page and then shown under the users’ profile.
