BuddyPress.org

Hi,

Well, I looked at all the posts regarding this issue and nothing has worked for me. This is what I did:

– signed up at bluehost.com
– through bluehost’s cPanel, I did a one-click install of WordPress at the root directory of my website.
– made sure “anyone can register” is checked; made sure I can change permalinks
– went to plugins >> add new: then installed buddypress and buddypress toolbar
– then when I go to my website and clicked “Register” I get a 404 page. I checked the Settings >> Pages tab in BuddyPress and the dropdowns for Register and Activate does not show “Register”

The only plugins I have are: akismet, buddypress, buddypress toolbar.

All should be the most recent version.

If anyone can help, I’d really appreciate it! Thanks.
