[Resolved] Buddypress Permalink Settings 404 Page not fund error

Hey all.
I try to install buddypress on my local serwer(wamp). All it’s okey, but when i must change the Permalink Settings, for else than default, then home page works, but when i click on post name, page, user porfile link, or something else, than i get the 404 error: Page not found. Why?

Deactivate BuddyPress. You have to resolve pretty permalinks issue before activating BuddyPress.

There’s a good post in WP.org to help resolve permalinks in WAMP at https://wordpress.org/support/topic/how-to-change-permalinks-under-wamp
If that doesn’t do it for you, please post in https://wordpress.org/support/forum/installation

Thanks man, links have helped!

For others who also have this problem:
Click on wamp icon, Apache –> Apache Modules, and you can see big list, scroll down and choose rewrite_module.

how do i get wamp to work. because my wordpress is on a webhost and not on my pc

EDIT – if your WP is on webhost, contact webhost tech support to see why your WP is not working.
