Separate user photo and avatar

Hi,
I am using Gravatar for define a specific avatar for users to post on the blog. However I want users to be able to assign a user photo too, which is different from the avatar. The photo will be visible internally (logged in users) only, it must appear in the directory area etc… Is there such an option in BuddyPress? Thanks.

I am using Simple Local Avatars plugin, not Gravatar as mentioned in original post.

This can’t be done using BuddyPress as it comes out of the box. You’d need a plugin or some custom code which allows users to save a image file to their profile data.
