Hello –

Just got started on Buddypress, and I’m playing around with it on a sandbox site. I’m unable to create new users – for some reason, it thinks that I’m using illegal characters. I’m definitely not, though; I’m only using letters. I was unable to register the name “Darth Vader,” or “DarthVader,” or “DarthVader1.” However, the username “1234a” worked for some reason.

Here’s a pic trying to use the name “Cornelius.” I see nothing wrong with it.

I’ve already created a new site to try it out on without any other plugins activated. I’ve disabled buddypress, removed it from my plugins folder, re-added it, and then reactivated it. That didn’t help.
