URGENT – Error establishing a database connection – URGENT

    I’m using WordPress and Buddypress, when a user Create’s a Blog and follows the link from the site to their created blog they get the following error;

    Error establishing a database connection

    I am using WordPress 3.1.3 and latest Buddypress 1.2.8, with PHP 5.3.6

    Any ideas?

    Also I have all the correct files in the /themes/bp-social/blogs/ directory (index.php, create.php, blogs-loop.php) however nothing shows in the Blogs listings? Whats going on?

    Error is on http://uknexttopmodel.com/dagwan and http://uknexttopmodel.com/blogs

    This is not a BuddyPress issue. Deactivate all plugins including BuddyPress; change to twentyten theme and check if you as Super Admin can create a blog from the backend. If not, then you have to resolve multisite setup at WP.org forums https://wordpress.org/support/forum/multisite

    As for BP Social Theme, you should be able to get free support for your premium theme at http://buddydress.com/

    EDIT- could very well be a theme issue. If you change to bp-default theme, does the same error appear?

    Posted the same question on the WP forum as suggested. I tried the default theme and got the same problem.

    I saw your post at the WP multisite forum, asked you to add whether the same behavior applies to blogs created by Super Admin from the backend.

    Yup – it does the same thing. I’ve escalated the site dbuser to ALL PRIVILEDGES but still get the same problems.
