User blogs in v1.1 have no theme

I am using the default BP1.1 theme as a single theme for both the main blog and member pages. Everything looks great except when a user creates a blog there is no theme/CSS at all. Probably something simple but I can’t find it. Can a user blog use the default BP theme like the rest of the site?

The default BP theme will only work on the home blog. Things like the menu code will complain, otherwise.
