BuddyPress 2.9 is due out in the next few weeks.

I should have been clearer. You should post on the plugin’s support forum because there’s a chance Brajesh won’t see this here. Hope you’re able to get the issue resolved.

@artempr yes you can but it’s recommended you use the messages_message_before_save action instead of the individual filters:

messages_message_sender_id_before_save
messages_message_thread_id_before_save
messages_message_subject_before_save
messages_message_content_before_save
messages_message_date_sent_before_save

messages_message_subject_before_save isn’t a function which is probably why you had trouble finding it. It’s a filter inside class-bp-messages-message.php. The full path to the file is bp-messages/classes/class-bp-messages-message.php.

You don’t need this:

if ( !function_exists( 'xprofile_get_field_data' ) ) {
require_once '/bp-xprofile/bp-xprofile-functions.php';
}

If BuddyPress is active then xprofile_get_field_data() should be available.

1. When the user is deleted, he is removed from all groups
