Yeah, it is strange. When I go to ‘widgets’ even on the default theme… There’s only one sidebar. The other options are for ‘footer widget area’s….
Does everyone else have this?
Like I said, there used to be two sidebars… (in the widget area config)

If anyone else is having this problem… I narrowed down the plugin that was causing at least my issues… It was ‘Custom Contact Forms’… Sad.

I realize it’s not specifically a BP issue, but was hoping the community would have a suggestion. I would simply like to have the data outputted as a display… Below is the JSON feed I’m trying to display.

Bump… I also have a URL that has a feed through HTML… Very curious on how I could get the output on my Buddypress site.
I use Bluehost as well, and had similar problems… I tried just about everything, and the only thing I could do was use an SMTP plugin… This is the one I use: http://coffee2code.com/wp-plugins/configure-smtp/
Here are a couple things I learned, so you don’t have to bang your head as much as I did…
– use ‘localhost’ as the SMTP hostname in the config file
– Make SURE you are using an email address that is being hosted on Bluehost for the username/password

OK, I’m playing with it now… Do you have the same problem I do, when you try to upload a picture to the album it really fricks up the frames? (see screenshot)

Savannah… Thank you a lot for your feedback! I’m currently using BP Album; which is great for photo-like albums (a la Facebook)…. However, if you can look at the screenshot below… Where it says: “Whats new search66?” … where it allows you ‘post update’ to a group/area…. I’m looking for a way to be able for a user to comment right there, and have the ability to insert an image… Am I way off?
