BuddyPress.org

I’ve seen a plugin that does did this. It was something like “profile extender” or something of the sort. It is now not available, and so I’m trying to find another solution.

I can add a “Terms of Service” checkbox by adding different profile fields via buddypress, but those profile fields are obviously visible to either friends/everyone depending on the user’s settings. Either way, what I’m looking for is something permanent, that a user cannot change after signup and isn’t displayed in their profile.

I imagine that I could hack the registration process and create a checkbox where the site disallows registration if the checkbox isn’t checked, but I can’t help but thinking that something already exists in the form of a plugin or “quick hack” that’s been documented, as there are an amazing amount of BuddyPress sites and I would think that this would be a common concern amongst BP Site owners.

Any thoughts? Advice? Ideas? Thanks in advance.
