What theme are you using as well as plugins? Sounds kinda like you may have got a theme from somewhere other than a reputable place and maybe it has some java-script that is causing this. Have you tried switching themes to Twenty Twelve or bp-default and deactivated all plugins other than BuddyPress?

Thank you both, and I suppose you are both correct. I will release the plugin when I get it done. If its for the greater good then I will not let anyone that would oppose this deter my efforts!

Here is one way you could add xprofile fields name as well as the value to the members loop! Just remember to replace “Field-Name with the names of your fields in the 5 variables in my code. You’ve been around long enough to know if something is off so if you know for certain something is off on the codex I doubt there will be any objections if make a correction! 🙂

This is not really a BuddyPress issue! Why not pose this question on the plugins support forum? If memory serves me correct this is a Woo Themes plugin!

Using a shared server is not a good idea! Typically most shared servers will remove your site if it uses 20% of its resources because its to hard on the CPU! As far as plugins go, a well written plugin doesn’t really bog down a site anymore than BuddyPress itself would!

Why would you fiddle around with the templates code when a more simple update proof solution is available?

Its kinda hard to compare when one doesn’t even know what WPeddit is. I seriously doubt whatever WPeddit is would be on the same level as BP as it has been in development for 5-6 years.

That would work fine unless the site admin was using a plugin like:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/private-community-for-bp-lite/
Then that URL would be useless and they would just get redirected but maybe this person is not using a plugin that restricts logged out visitors from the site so your idea may work for them.
