I’ve just tested this with all sorts of combinations of bbPress/BuddyPress, and I can’t recreate a problem.

Can you find out what web server software your web host is using for your server? It could be Apache, nginx, etc.

It really doesn’t. I assume we’re talking about WP’s /themes/ folder. If you’ve been sticking themes inside /plugins/buddypress/BuddyPress-themes/, then yes, they would be removed (don’t store custom themes there).

Until I release a new version, you’ll need to turn down PHP’s error reporting level, or otherwise stop these messages appearing on the screen. Your web host ought to be able to help with this.
