Ok, the rewrite module from Apache was turned off…

I turned it on, problem resolved !

Same problem here.

I Reinstalled WPMU 2.8.4a, (with subdirectories instead of subdomains) and BuddyPress from trunk, because I updated my localhost (WAMP 1.7>2.0).

My old .htaccess (which was working before)

If I use the .htaccess, the wordpress-mu directory under 127.0.0.1/kine disappears and I can’t access WPMU.

If I don’t use it, I can access WPMU & Buddypress, but I get a “404 Not Found” for every page other than home…

But found only one or two themes; just some color variants of the default theme.

Maybe you know where I could find others ?

It begins to be quite good

Now you can grant a user moderator for all categories or just for some of them.

I had to rewrite lot of stuff since BP 1.1 and buddypress “groups” came with a lot of changes (and I used “groups” as start point from my component).

But so it is better now

I think i’ll put a first test version online this week.

PS : and do better sibling for the js functions as it is e.g.

jQuery("div#invite-list input").click(

instead of

Plugin has been updated for BP 1.1 Beta.

(still is work in progress !!)

Adding and viewing a profile map now works rather well, and displays good; even it’s a little hacky

Still had to hardcode changes into the original mapPress plugin. The changes have been commented in the code with “BP-MAPPRESS FIX”.

Hi Jeff, I updated BP to use bp_core_new_subnav_item().

I’m working inside a class; and I would like to call the “screen” function of that class with my submenu.

I try

Hi Andy; non-root folder means that I need to run my WPMU in

http://localhost/mysite

instead of

http://localhost/mysite/wpmu ?

You told me in another post that I should use bp_core_new_subnav_item() instead of bp_core_add_subnav_item(); but the 1.1 does not work yet here so if I just need to move my installation for the moment, I can do it…
