In reply to: Fatal error: Buddypress 1.2.8 and WP 3.1
Mhm, your install may be broken.
Delete the entire plugin, and re-install buddypress, it should fix it.

To achieve what you are talking about, it would require ajax to load 3 pages without re-loading the page? Yeah, the wordpress logout requires the standard
wp-login.php?action=logoutaction, to dump that into an ajax js would be pretty difficult.You can see what I am talking about, if you go to your site, and click the “Log Out”, the
wp-login.php?action=logoutwill appear, than redirect to the homepage.But it would be still worth checking around!

P.S, if there is a plugin that does this, I would expect it to conflict with alot of other plugins.
In reply to: BuddyPress Activity Stream as Blog Comments pluginIn reply to: Adding multiple profiles per memberSub-profiles?
Eh, that would be pretty difficult to do.
However, you can do that for groups: https://buddypress.org/community/groups/bp-group-hierarchy/
So you need to put in the JS into your multisite? You can get it from the Functions.php of the default theme.
Same with the CSS, but in default.css
or,
you can redirect the “Reply” button to the “Leave a reply” textarea in the forums, and so on in the comments:`
function cac_insert_comment_reply_links( $has_comments ) {
global $activities_template, $wpdb, $bbdb;do_action( ‘bbpress_init’ );
$topics_data = array();
$posts_data = array();
foreach( $activities_template->activities as $key => $activity ) {
if ( $activity->type == ‘new_forum_topic’ ) {
$topic_id = $activity->secondary_item_id;
$topics_data[$topic_id] = $activity->primary_link;
$topics_data[$topic_id] = $key;
}if ( $activity->type == ‘new_forum_post’ ) {
$post_id = $activity->secondary_item_id;
$posts_data[$post_id] = array_pop( array_reverse( explode( ‘#’, $activity->primary_link ) ) );
$posts_data[$post_id] = $key;
}
}// In cases where we only have the post id, we must do an extra query to get topic ids
if ( !empty( $posts_data ) ) {
$post_ids = array_keys( $posts_data );
$post_ids_sql = implode( ‘,’, $post_ids );
$sql = $wpdb->prepare( “SELECT topic_id, post_id FROM {$bbdb->posts} WHERE post_id IN ({$post_ids_sql})” );
$post_topic_ids = $wpdb->get_results( $sql );// Now that we have the topic IDs, we can add that info to $topics_data for the main query
foreach( $post_topic_ids as $post_topic ) {
$topics_data[$post_topic->topic_id] = $posts_data[$post_topic->post_id];
}
}// Now for the main event
// First, make a topic list and get all the associated posts
$topic_ids = implode( ‘,’, array_keys( $topics_data ) );
$sql = $wpdb->prepare( “SELECT topic_id, post_id FROM {$bbdb->posts} WHERE topic_id IN ({$topic_ids})” );
$posts = $wpdb->get_results( $sql );// Now we get counts. BTW it sucks to do it this way
$counter = array();
foreach( $posts as $post ) {
if ( empty( $counter[$post->topic_id] ) )
$counter[$post->topic_id] = 1;
else

You can make the group’s default page being the Forum by adding this to your bp-custom.php:
`function redirect_to_forum() {
global $bp;$path = clean_url( $_SERVER );
$path = apply_filters( ‘bp_uri’, $path );
if ( bp_is_group_home() && strpos( $path, $bp->bp_options_nav ) === false )
bp_core_redirect( $path . $bp->bp_options_nav . ‘/’ );
}
add_action( ‘wp’, ‘redirect_to_forum’ );`In reply to: Searching the Codex is broken

In reply to: [Resolved] Locating comments.php for edittingSorry for not responding.
Your just looking for the Comments Function on your theme?
There is most likely a “comments.php” in your theme folder.
Sounds like your install may be broken.
What versions of buddypress you are using?
I would re-install the buddypress plugin to ensure a clean install.
Any Reason you don’t want subsequent replies? If you don’t want the nesting, it’s a simple CSS solution you can change:
`div.activity-comments ul li
margin-left: 0px;`Is that what you mean?
In reply to: Full Name searchThe search does search for the Name or “Profile” Name of the User, including if they have a Space as sort of a “Last Name”
In reply to: Show hidden group activityThat code gave me duplicate topics, and it’s outdated.
In reply to: How to change “Search anything…”This is what you want to change:
`if ( !empty( $_POST ) && __( ‘Search anything…’, ‘buddypress’ )` in your theme’s ajax.php
Buddypress does not change any login functions in wordpress.
Looks to me your login works fine: http://hongernaarmeer.nl/launch1/wp-login.php?redirect_to=http%3A%2F%2Fhongernaarmeer.nl%2Flaunch1%2Fwp-admin%2F&reauth=1
In reply to: [Resolved] can’t open group pageWp/bp versions?
What plugins do you have installed?
Do you have multisite?
Files could be in incorrect place, but thinking it would redirect to homepage.
In reply to: Failed to load resource: jquery.Jcrop.jsSo, the avatar cropping just does not appear? Sometimes if the page does not fully load, the cropping tool will not appear.. are you sure the page is fully loaded?
If so, I would check for conflicting plugins, otherwise, did you say you had multisite?
Be more specific.
