ThanksYay, yes that’s it.
I was missing the activity-loop.php file
Its working now.
Thanks!Hi peeps. I’m having a similar problem, but not sure if its exactly the same thing, my activity page is not the first page, nor do I want it. I’m using a custom theme designed in Artisteer, and the activity is not showing up. If I use the default buddypress theme, then the activity shows up.
Any ideas?

Is BuddyPress 1.2.4.1 compatible with WP3.0. I’m having the same problem with the activity stream.
ThanksI think I may have gotten it to work.
I’ll wait till tomorrow to test properly

Thanks for getting in touch. I’m getting to that file right now
Will let you know!Just posting here, to keep this fresh. This is a serious problem for me, and I’d really appreciate help.
A social networking site is pretty useless if no-one can registerYay, this is exciting news. Like Jim, I’m also interested to read a set of simple steps.
Woohoo!I’d also like the ability to change the name of this widget. It just doesn’t fit in with my theme
Thanks everyone. Jivany’s solution works for me
Yes Xevo, %20 is a spacebar, but I assure you I don’t have a space in my username, buddypress is pulling my display name in the url and not my username. Any idea why?
I don’t have spaces in my username, but my public name does have a space in it. Does the system use my username or display name to create links?
Thanks for your help!
In the past, and luckily I’m hosting with TMD hosting who did a free installation of BuddyPress if I wanted it, but being a newbie to WordPress meant that I was on a steep learning curve to tweak wordpress mu and the newness of BuddyPress plugin.
Thanks for the welcome and the great work Andy and the whole Open Source team. I hope to create many beautiful BuddyPress sites connecting people
