@johnjamesjacoby I was so stoked when I found this thread, thinking I finally found a way to run a normal forum but allow users to have the same log in account for buddypress and bbpress, but after I went through it all integrating the two, buddypress just shoved the forum right back into their groups.

Trunk has not been synced with branch for over 2 months. With BP 1.2.5 out the door, @johnjamesjacoby has said that he will soon be merging the 1.2 branch into trunk. So, the changes discussed in this thread will see thier way into trunk.

Updated to BP 1.2.5 without deactivating plugins on a few sites (not recommended I know) but had no issues.

@johnjamesjacoby Xprofile fields groups after the main group don’t work in 1.2.5! I added a new group on my site for an bio in the profile field system then added a multi line entry for that group also named bio and in the front end I cant find it.

Have you tried contacting @jobjorn ? He was listed as the one in charge of the Swedish translation. But, I think it never got created. You should check in with @apeatling and @johnjamesjacoby as they control access to the BP repository.

thanks @johnjamesjacoby for the follow up and @rebootnow for the additional insight on this. I believe that tickets #2451 and #2469 are related because with multiblog enabled it’s still kicking an avatar path and upload relative to the wp_upload_dir(). @johnjamesjacoby et al; OMG NO! I just very carefully installed BP 1.2.5 locally on xampp; perfect. I did the same, very carefully, on my server. Now the site works, but ALL of my log-ins are dead, and it won’t send me an emergency log-in by email because it doesn’t recognise a darned thing! 🙁

  The links on the right are absolutely positioned. You will need to apply your own custom Css either to those buttons or to the status to fix the overlap. In a standard install this doesn’t happen because the column isn’t as narrow.
