    Hey Guys,

So I just need to add this line (via @nuprn1) to my functions?

Does this also fix previously posted activities or only newly posted ones?

    Cheers.

    Guys,

    Got it, the culprit.

BuddyPress Announce Group <- this plugin was missing things up. Making add a reply and post new topic appear for non logged in users.

    Cheers.

Actually I noticed this should be default BP behavior, and did check my child theme files and they do check if user is logged in (using if is_user_logged_in() ). However for some reason this is getting overriden and the add reply / post new topics forms still show. Any ideas guys?

@crashutah thanks a lot man for your responses and information. I’ve noticed that there is some differences indeed between single and MU handling the whole registration, activation, and log in processes.

I tried this piece of code (in my functions.php after the disabling activation and email bits) however it game me some weird behavior and my backend became non functional. I probably missed something (used the code as is while I needed to modify) or maybe one of my other plugins is causing misbehavior? I have auto redirect to profile on login plugin, and branded login plugin activated.

    Cheers.

hey guys, this is all awesome, btw the code to disable activation email from being sent is not working, however I edited that into a welcome email instead and removed the link. My qustion is, how can we automatically sign in registered users? :)

They are activated already so it is pointless to ask them to log in, really.

    Any ideas?

    Cheers.

@boonebgorges thanks. Please let me know once you do, I am happy to be your first donator for that plugin ;)

In the meantime, I will commence hacking.

    Cheers.

@boonebgorges thanks for your response and plugin link, in terms of functionality it is almost exactly what I need, only:
    – Need it to manage users instead of groups
    – Need it to show their full profile fields (including xprofile)
    – Need options to deactivate(very important) or delete users
    – Need function to export list to excel sheet

Hi @Vendetta, Did you manage to solve this problem? As in fix the blank avatar screen yet keeping Facestream as well?

I am having exact same issue but still couldn’t solve it. Appreciate your help.

    Cheers.

@Dwenaus I am running version: 1.3.2, there is no plugin update alerts showing for it so I am assuming this one is the latest.

@Dwenaus Thanks for this awesome plugin. Just one concern mate, it causes a JS error (the one that appears at the bottom left corner) on IE8. I made sure the script error comes from this plugin because whenever I deactivate or I am not on forum pages, the small yellow triangle disappears.
