Please upgrade to WP 3.5.1 and BuddyPress 1.6.5, clear cache, change to BP Default theme and check whether issue is corrected.

Is BuddyPress activated network-wide or is BP activated only in main site/subdirectory?

@talitaco Sorry, no plugin like that at this time. You’d either have to code this yourself or hire a developer to do.

I tried editing style.css and register.php in my child theme but failed to see any result.

@splendidangst an alternative to complete theme change per profile, you might also consider allowing users to change their profile page background. Then go further and allow groups to change group’s background as well 🙂

@tosen haven’t used woo-tumblog plugin. There’s a free plugin http://buddydev.com/plugins/buddyblog/ which will allow BP members to post from front-end in their profile areas. So instead of hiring a dev, you might like to donate to the plugin author instead 🙂

@bowes thank you for the information. As you mentioned in your original post, the menu shows correct URL when you use the BP Default theme. Have you checked whether the theme and the Gantry theme framework and BP plugin are compatible with your WP/BP versions? Have you contacted the theme/plugin authors about this issue?

@dramsay to double-check that it’s not a theme issue, change to BP Default theme, clear cache, and then go to Groups directory page and click on Join Group. By the way, did you check if the Razor theme is compatible with your BP/WP versions?
