@mercime replied to the topic [Resolved] Mass-deleting Buddypress groups? in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 9 years, 4 months ago
@rockoria Pull down the “Screen Options” tab near the upper right corner of the page. This will show up “Groups” and you can set it to show max of 999 groups on the page. That way, you only delete 4 times.
Otherwise the only option is to go to your database and delete some tables and rows in some other tables. Cleaner and safer way is still to…[Read more]

> Mass-deleting Buddypress groups?
@rockoria Safest way is to go to wp-admin/dashboard and click on the “Groups” link in the menu. You’ll get the updated version of what you see in the following image https://mercime.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/groups-dashboard-admin.png

@mercime replied to the topic [Resolved] need to view Groups Members in Admin in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 9 years, 4 months ago
@rglennnall
> either the Groups associated with each User> to show Users associated with each Group
Just go to yoursite.com/groups/[nameofgroup]/members and you’ll find the list of members who joined or were invited to the group -
@mercime replied to the topic location of selectbox in the forum Miscellaneous 9 years, 4 months ago
@felipexx85 You’d need to go to your site’s Activity directory page e.g. http://example.com/activity
The content of the selectbox will depend on what components you have activated and plugin you have installed. For example, Topics and Replies only show up in the selectbox if bbPress plugin is activated. -

@stegtflesk Looks like you’re using a premium theme with it’s own features built in. Not sure, because we need more information, like what theme are you using? Have you tried asking at the theme author’s forums? We have no access to premium themes.

@mercime replied to the topic BLOGS in the forum Installing BuddyPress 9 years, 4 months ago
@fridafric Most of the information on that book is obsolete. If you want blogs, you need to create a network first, and that is a WordPress function which BuddyPress supports. Deactivate BuddyPress and other plugins first the follow instructions at https://codex.wordpress.org/Create_A_Network
Do make sure that your multisite installation is…[Read more] -

@vinzen I was initially able to confirm the issue reported by the lady in the original post. However, upon consultation with another developer, testing in another laptop, and restarting the other laptop I used to test the issue, the result is that one can open the file selection box using keyboard navigation.
Could you please ask her to restart…[Read more]

@mercime replied to the topic Error 404 on all components of buddypress in the forum Installing BuddyPress 9 years, 4 months ago
@jdc2018 Have you set the WordPress admin panel > Settings > Permalinks to a configuration other than the default configuration. mod_rewrite must be enabled on your server for pretty permalinks to work.
If changing permalinks doesn’t work: WP/BP versions? What theme are you using? What other plugins are activated in your site? Where are you…[Read more]
