I accidently deleted the path in this field in my blog settings

@alephnull Not clear why bb-config location would show up anywhere in your blog settings. Do you mean bb-config field shows up in your admin menu Settings > Forums panel instead? Did you upgrade from an older BP version?

@dylss505 click on the “Screen Options” tab at the upper right area of your screen and check “BuddyPress” to show

@ancavreasy really depends on the scale your company is willing to engage with the customers.

If you only need forums, you do not need BuddyPress, just install bbPress plugin. For a more engaged community interaction via groups, friending, profiles, etc, then BuddyPress is your plugin.

@alex80ks @danbp That is default featured image function for the BP Default theme, it shows up in the header area.

@96black changelog shows that their V2.0.66.12 BETA- 07.22.2014 has fixed BP compatibility http://www.nextgen-gallery.com/changelog/ not sure when they’ll be releasing stable version

@webt89 Unfortunately, there are themes with proprietary templating systems that hijacks the loop which allows BP to be compatible with WP themes. There could still be a way around it.

when admin create a users he is forced to enter a pseudonym

@victord34 you mean a “username”. That is a WordPress requirement for registration, not BuddyPress. But since BP is a plugin for WP, we use those usernames in different instances.
