@colourinfusion there is no longer any Installation Wizard as of BP 1.7. Proceed to the Settings > BuddyPress > Settings panels to configure your BP installation.

@valuser as hnla and modemlooper mentioned above, BP 1.7 theme compatibility is the way to go now. BP template pack served its purpose then but it’s time to move on 🙂

@kizmark In your customization, add back do_action( 'bp_member_header_actions' ); in
buddypress/members/single/member-header.php. Also I don’t see buddypress.js in source view of your theme and it’s needed to make the button actions work.

@richardicanie it would be better if you created a new topic for your own issue. Include information about WP/BP versions, theme used, etc. and be more specific about the elements you need to fix in your theme. Screenshots/site url welcome.

For the RSS feed, this is not exactly what I’m looking for.

@brikou it’s the only plugin that I know of that comes close to what you need. You’d either need to code one or hire a developer to do what you need.

@miciz WP/BP versions? Plugins used? Have you tried deactivating plugins except BuddyPress to check which is causing conflict?

Whenever I make a topic in any given forum, it appears in every single forum

@fptcom WP, BP and bbPress versions? Have never seen the issue you posted above. Basic troubleshooting, change to twenty twelve theme and deactivate plugins except BuddyPress and bbPress.

Btw, please upload your BP-compatible or BP child theme in wp-content/themes/ and not in wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/ Good that the latter way works for now, but that’s not the best practice.

@alexharvey52 I’ve seen the misalignments when theme authors use proprietary templating systems. One solution would be to open up your theme’s page.php file and Save As > buddypress.php then ask theme author to replace theme’s template tags to use the_title() and the_content(). Then upload that revised buddypress.php file to your theme folder in server.
