BuddyPress does not enqueue any styles which would affect the layout of your theme. Have you tried checking out Yoo’s forums to see if there are others whose layouts were affected when BuddyPress was installed?

@chase8705 when you go to the register page while you’re still logged in, default behavior is to go to home page. Log out first before going to registration page.

@sooskriszta can share the enhancement tickets he/she posted in BuddyPress Trac and lobby for such, exercising first amendment rights. Ticket #5008 reminds me of the original BP theme which had the avatars of group admin/mod under the avatar with member avatars below it 🙂

@carolinecalvert what theme are you using? Some themes have page titles which are not within the WP loop, hence BP cannot automagically insert the “Create Group” button beside the page title as seen https://mercime.files.wordpress.com/2013/02/groups-directory.png

BP/WP versions? What theme are you using? Plugins installed?

Where are you hosted? I’ve heard issue with host’s object cache, just can’t recall if it was with Activity Stream or another component.

#1 – Profile > Edit in Member’s profile page and/or BuddyPress member account links in WP Toolbar?

@rotju best place to search or ask this is at theme dev’s forums. I recall someone mentioning that you need a plugin (don’t know if free or paid) to make Yoothemes compatible with BuddyPress. Don’t know if a yootheme plugin is still required at this time.

@compassseeker BuddyPress pages work automagically with nearly all WordPress themes. I hope you did not install and run the BP Template Pack plugin as it’s no longer needed in BP 1.7 above.

@kalanstar Just tested and I cannot replicate the bug. Do you have something in bp-custom.php file or in mu-plugins folder which you have not deactivated?
