@mercime replied to the topic Posts and comments in activity: a confused work in the forum Requests & Feedback 12 years, 9 months ago
@ggsalas to prevent confusion, go to Settings > BuddyPress > Settings -> Activity Settings and make sure that “Allow activity stream commenting on blog and forum posts” is unchecked. That way, if someone wants to read/comment, they either go to the forum topic or the blog post page.

@steve_macneil something obviously went awry with your migration from dev to production site. Backup your de…[Read more]

@henrywright-1 Didn’t know you created a special login page. Since it’s a Page you created specifically for login, you should be able to use the regular WP conditional for a specific Page https://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#A_PAGE_Page or Page Template https://codex.wordpress.org/Conditional_Tags#Is_a_Page_Template

@mercime replied to the topic posts are missing content or not showing in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 12 years, 9 months ago
@lradden going back to your old topic per link you gave above, those missing posts may be related to the issue you had with cforms – unless you have a custom post type plugin specifically used to generate content/posts on that page. While we do not provide support for third-party plugins, looking through the cforms page at…[Read more]

with the later of these affect the first one as far as themes go!
Not sure what you mean by this. But since you have two separate WP installations, the theme you activate on first WP site…[Read more]

@mercime replied to the topic Separate Theme for BP in the forum How-to & Troubleshooting 12 years, 9 months ago
@victoryrock open up your theme’s page.php file and check if you can see the_title and the_content tags.
If you do see those tags, copy the code of your page.php file, paste into pastebin.com, click submit and post the generated pastebin.com url here.
