In reply to: BP Admin Bar overlaps my dashboard
Deactivating plugins and changing to default theme is basic troubleshooting procedure for both WP and BP and usually helps spot the offending culprit as you activate plugins/theme one by one. Did you also deactivate mu-plugins and/or bp-custom.php?
Threaded comments == working in BP 1.3 trunk
Author replies be highlighted == add .byauthorpost or combination of former with other selector/s in stylesheet and style
It might just be that your theme needs to be updated. Check theme’s forums for solutions/updates.

@lockamiz23 have you tried the troubleshooting basics like changing theme to bp-default and deactivating all plugins except BuddyPress?
In reply to: BP Admin Bar overlaps my dashboardDeactivate all plugins except BuddyPress, keep on the bp-default theme and clear cache and cookies. How’s the BP Admin Bar now?
In reply to: No one is able to ‘reply’ since the last upgradeYou’ll need to upgrade your theme @gossyomega1
In reply to: No one is able to ‘reply’ since the last upgradeChange to bp-default theme and deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress. You might also want to check out and post at theme’s support forums http://themekraft.com/support/
In reply to: Header already sent error while composing a messageTroubleshooting at this time. The more information you can give about your WP installation, the better – server. PHP version, etc. If you have any other plugins aside from BuddyPress activated, deactivate them and change to bp-default theme. If you still see the error, download a fresh copy of BP and re-upload to server via FTP/cpanel.

In reply to: Nested Comments are not indentingbp-default theme is updated along with the plugin. Nested comments will be available in BP 1.3
In reply to: Header already sent error while composing a messageIf you auto-upgraded from backend, download a fresh copy of BuddyPress and upload manually to your plugins folder.
In reply to: HELP WITH HEADERWhat’s not clear is what you have done so far and if you have indeed created a child theme of bp-default. Help us help you.
In reply to: HELP WITH HEADERI assumed you wanted to use the bp-default theme. But it’s bad practice to make the changes there because those will be overwritten when you upgrade BP. So it’s prudent to create a child theme of bp-default theme – https://codex.buddypress.org/theme-development/building-a-buddypress-child-theme/

Note: Unless a developer takes over this plugin, it won’t be updated for BP 1.3http://bp-tricks.com/coding/manage-group-creation-by-creating-a-group-request-form/
Note: Haven’t tried it myself but looks good.In reply to: HELP WITH HEADERIf you’ve created a child theme of bp-default, you could disable the custom header function by adding the following to your theme’s functions.php
`define( ‘BP_DTHEME_DISABLE_CUSTOM_HEADER’, true );`From that point on, you could search for a plugin which does what you need

or something like the aboveIn reply to: buddypress layoutIn reply to: I can’t set-up a signup/register page or widgetUsing bp-default theme, if you allowed registration in your single WP or multisite, then the registration page will show up when visitors click on “Register” link.
@spreadinglove since your forums are generated via bbPress plugin, I suggest asking this question at https://bbpress.org/forums/
In reply to: Users classified as spammersDid you check registration if you deactivate Typepad spam blocker as well as all other plugins except BuddyPress and change to bp-default theme?
In reply to: Event manager with Citizen Kane ThemeCould be that it’s the Event Manager plugin which is not working with BuddyPress. Does the event manager plugin you’re using work on the bp-default theme?
In reply to: Duplicate content issue: paginationYou have to more specific like WP/BP versions? Which theme are you using? If you deactivate all plugins except BuddyPress and change to bp-default theme, does the same behavior show up or is it fixed?
–In reply to: Customizing BuddyPress Sign-In Header@hawkd215 Since BP Social is a premium theme, you should be able to get free support from theme author who knows all the nuances of the theme — which is not available to those of us who didn’t purchase the theme.
