== 404 errors on those pages ==
The weird thing is that links to the BP components pages like forums and groups are working while your regular WP Pages are not working.
Wait, did you make those Pages > “Private” in Page Write/Edit Panel? That’s one scenario which could cause that behavior.
In reply to: [Resolved] new topic dropdown – solvedThis is a Suffusion theme and Suffusion BP Pack issue. I’m sure that such behavior won’t appear if you deactivate Suffusion and its BP Pack. Recommend that you post this in the theme author’s support forum as the theme author knows more about how to resolve the toggle.
EDIT – I see that you posted there as well http://www.aquoid.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=4864
Out of the box, BuddyPress has only one instance in a WP multisite installation and requires to be activated network-wide in order to aggregate information from subsites created.
This is not to say that it’s not possible to create BuddyPressMU (there are just awesome coders/programmers out there) — but with major changes coming up with BP 1.3, then WP 3.2, and then BP 1.4, etc how many times are you going to twist and turn to extend BuddyPress that way and get it working with all BP/WP plugins without the support and technical skills of a large community? But hey, that’s just me.
Of course if you’re one of the awesome coders/programmers I’m thinking of, this will not be an insurmountable challenge at all … it’ll be a walk in the park

Going back to your scenario, could create 4 physical subdomains (instead of one WP with 4 virtual subdomains) in addition to your main site and activate BP in each site = 5 BP instances. Others might like to chime in with better configuration.
== i got the pages to show in the footer now by creating the custom menu ==
Yes, you’re supposed to create the custom menu in Appearance > Menus as I mentioned in posts above

Looks like there was a redirect for a split second to sportzmoney.xn.com or something of that sort. Where did you download the bp-columns theme? Should be from WP repo.
Change theme to bp-default to check if Pages are still redirecting to 404
Glad you got it going. Good luck!
Cheers.@jmilotaylor could be theme, plugin and/or server configurations/compatibility

Did you check if the theme has “ just before closing body and html tags near bottom of footer.php file?
@naijaping can you share what caused the overflow and how you resolved this?

Many of your requirements are available out-of-the-box with BuddyPress. Some others are met by plugins. Test drive BuddyPress at http://testbp.org/ to see available features.

@wilsontray With WP 3.1, you’ll find the Network Admin goodness when you click on the “Network Admin” link in topright area of your screen.
After uploading child theme of bp-default theme, you need to go to Network Admin > Themes > Themes > Choose the child theme and Network Activate
@wilsontray it would work if you create a child theme of bp-default and upload it to wp-content/themes. The script doesn’t recognize path to wp-content/plugins/buddypress/bp-themes/bp-default as I recall.

Having said that, s2Member plugin has a forum, did you join and ask for specific assistance there? Did you take time to read the documentation available and check out their video tutorials?
No worries @mikeytrooper, we’ve all been there before. Post the page.php first and let’s work from there.
EDIT – My bad, now MY face is red. I missed the reason why you wanted to post the header.php — for the navigation links. I can help you there as well.
== that is what the instructions told me to do ==
@mikeytrooper I wrote the walkthrough and it specifically states page.php or index.php, and content of page.php is what I asked you to paste in last paragraph https://buddypress.org/community/groups/how-to-and-troubleshooting/forum/topic/integrating-buddypress-into-on-demand-wordpress/#post-95018

== I am going to paste my header.php in the pastebin.com ==
You’re welcome. But why header.php? The structure you’ll be imposing on the BP template files transferred to your active theme will be coming from page.php
@goldbrick very strange, you said you deactivated all plugins except BuddyPress.
– If you have bp-custom.php in plugins folder rename that to deactivate
– if you have an mu-plugins folder, rename that to deactivateI was going to check source and styling but I’m getting a “500 Internal Server Error” from your site right now.
In reply to: Edit profile sending me back to home page@mikeytrooper let’s take it here, better than in my profile update page

== I just have one more question I am looking at the on demand html and I don’t see the style.css I was wondering if you knew if it may be under a different name. ==
Not quite sure what you mean. Go to On Demand theme folder and open page.php with text editor and check HTML structure as I noted in the walkthrough. Your style.css file should also be in that theme folder. Like I mentioned above, last time I tweaked On Demand was a year ago. Though there must have been some major revisions to the template files since then, surely there’s a page.php and style.css file in the folder.
If you want me to check out the structure, copy contents of your theme’s page.php file and paste in http://pastebin.com/ and save. Post the generated URL here.
You’re welcome. Cheers.
