In reply to: Removing buddypress from wp_headdo you want to edit css or just get rid of it all together? You can add blank files. Adding these files will override bp’s files. If they are blank nothing gets loaded:
yourtheme/css/buddypress.css
yourtheme/js/buddypress.jsOr try and remove hook action:
remove_action(‘bp_enqueue_styles’);
remove_action(‘bp_enqueue_scripts’);In reply to: Should I Use WP or WPMU for social network?If you want each BP user to have their own website/blog then use WPMU otherwise BP works with all the features on WP

<?php $userid = bp_loggedin_user_id(); $avatarurl = bp_core_fetch_avatar( array( ‘item_id’ => $userid, ‘html’ => false ) ); echo $avatarurl; ?>rewrite the quote marks, if you cut and paste it can have funky formatting. If you want to display the avatar instead of getting link:
<?php $userid = bp_loggedin_user_id(); echo bp_core_fetch_avatar( array( ‘item_id’ => $userid) ); ?>$id = //pass the id of a user
bp_core_fetch_avatar( array( ‘item_id’ => $id, ‘html’ => false ) );If you are not on a user page then you must tell it what id of the avatar to get.

In reply to: RSS reader for each member/groupI’m creating a new RSS plugin to replace external blogs that will allow a group creator to attach RSS or a user to attach RSS to profile. Will be ready in a few weeks.
In reply to: Multiple custom post types in activity streamHmm, maybe a lowercase issue.
Try portfolios instead of Portfolios. The name and singular name should be lower case. The other array items can be upper since they are what is displayed but the first two are the slugs.
In reply to: Charge a fee to upload mediamaybe something like user credits would work http://codecanyon.net/item/user-credits-for-wordpress/783664

The theme developers can supply responsive BP templates to make it 100% responsive. Even if BP added CSS and HTML to be responsive it still would not be 100% perfect because responsive CSS is different with every theme.
In reply to: Buddypress Responsive DesignBP is not responsive.
