bp doesn’t create users in canonical way..(i think, i’ve never seen that piece of code).

You should add a filter/action to the bp function that creates users,

@mike, why use a bp function? create a function that cut the text after a limited number of letter and then apply a filter!

I think it’s more simple.. as you want

if you want i can write a plugin, but i’m a lot busy, i think i can work on it on 7 Jen..

I worked a lot with prologue and buddypress, now it’s highly alpha

as soon as possible i’ll release something

[@nicolagreco Participant 17 years, 10 months ago]

@gpo as soon as possible i’ll annouce bpdev-facebar on bpdev blog. (I’ll release 2 version of facebar, a free facebar basic and a premium facebar that for example will show how many friends are currently logged in).

But these applications can be integrated (with icons) in the facebar. I’ll do that after writing fbar apis..

The version of bpdev flickr and youtube, given that are the first release (0.9) will be basic. In version 1 i’ll add activity feauture, and group feature.

you’ve to wait.. eheheh
