Are you planning on updating your “My Friends Widgets” plugin for WP3? Or should it work as-is?

Not sure yet. I think it still works, but you’d have to try to verify. There is actually another plugin out there that does something very similar to it and a bit more – so I’d have to have a look at that first. Mine might not be necessary anymore. 😉 Can’t remember the name of the other one right now.

Actually, it’s probably because you disabled the private messaging function.
You can fix it by editing line 21 in buddypress-sliding-login-panel/update-content.php
It looks like: if ( bp_has_message_threads(’per_page=2’) ) :
and should be changed for: if ( bp_is_active( ’messages’ ) && bp_has_message_threads(’per_page=2’) ) :@pollyplummer I had this happen on a test database of mine. Couldn’t figure out exactly why. Not sure how to do that. You’d probably need to change the jQuery that handles the slide down. It’s not a common request, as most people implement the panel to save space on the page.

Hi @pollyplummer. You have basically got the right idea, but there are a few problems. First, your check for usermeta is not formatted correctly. See https://codex.wordpress.org/Function_Reference/get_usermeta for get_usermeta syntax.
