I agree, I would prefer to have one login with the ability to send/receive tweets.
I’ll take a look and maybe hack a little
Does anybody know anything about creating multiple profile types in BuddyPress?
What about searching the map to find members in a certain area?
What details will the infowindows display? x profile data?
Thanks r-a-y-, I know that works, but I am having trouble getting that to work as well. I don’t know which function to add inside of the wrapper. I only know HTML and can’t figure this out for the life of me.
@miri, I am having the same exact problem, can you please contact me, I would like to see what you did to fix the problem.
Has anybody done anything like this?
I just assume that they are more focused on making BP compliant with WP 3.0 so that there isn’t a meltdown when 3.0 is released, and afterwards turn their attention back to the community and improving Buddypress further. I am pretty upset by the lack of presence and response on the forum. I don’t stress over following the trac day to day, and I don’t live on the bleeding edge, but when you contact someone directly it is important to get a response and some direction, everybody has something riding on this.
@yansony This is a pretty cricital plugin for many users, is the plugin working for you as it is designed to? I have tried many times with no success? Would you mind sharing your website, can we see it in action?
Great job on the Featured Memebers scroller on the home page, I don’t think I have seen that on any other BP site. The main content section gets a little cluttered, especially the activity feed with the same font styles being used in the main section and sidebar.
Is anybody working on this at the moment, or made any progress or such a thing? I could provide the motivation you need to finish if so. Please contact me directly if so.
It doesn’t work any more, and I don’t think I will be able to find the code since that was a few versions ago. Even then, the member filter was not being fully used. I am pretty pissed because I paid to have the plugin developed for my site, and it relied on the member filter which no longer works.
Same here.
I’m with Chopo as well, I need this.
I’ll get in line with nipponmonkey.
I restored the database from a backup and everything came back.

@chopo87 It was 1.2.1 and even then it was only that I had a custom plugin developed for my site that relied on the Member Filter Plugin. I have never seen the Member Filter Plugin in action and performing as it should.
This one is for the forum mods, have you experienced this issue and found a way to fix it? I wish someone would suggest a fix, or make sure it gets fixed for good with the next update. This feature has to be used by every member of every BP site.
I need help with this as well. I have another plugin that relied on the old member filter, and now both do not function. My website is really failing without them.
I see lots of tickets for this issue, and it seems to be apparent in almost all configurations of WP/WPMU & Buddypress.
What could be causing this issue, I haven’t been able to find a fix for my website, I’m starting to think my users think I am a joke for an admin because this issue has persists for about 2 weeks now. Has anybody had this issue on a WPMU installation and found a way to fix it?

I would use this, cool idea.
How do we fix this issue for WPMU installations?
