@Landshark check out group and friend markers modification on this plugin here…’http://dev.benoitgreant.be/bbpress/topic/expanding-the-plugin‘. I’m real excited about having this functionality!

You could try this WordPress plug-in…’wp-members. Works for me.

Thanks r-a-y…you saved me several hours of work digging and reading.

Most of it comes down to modifying the CSS style sheets. Check out…’http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_intro.asp‘

True…blog post search is a must…Thanks.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

What error do you get?

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

I like @Lansharks idea too. I could definitely use that feature.

@Grosbouff : If you could give us an idea on how to do that, I would try to learn and implement it.

Thanks for the plug-in and the hard work.

The upgrade worked for me…Thanks! I’ll post further questions/issues on your site.

On the backend, whenever I go to “edit profile” to set a marker and I click search, it sends me to the top of the page and does nothing. Any ideas for me? I’m running WPMU 2.9.1 and BP 1.2.1.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Works fine for me. Thanks for the hard work.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Great…thanks.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Did anyone get this to work? I get an error “Please enter some content to post.” Using WPMU 2.9.1 and BP1.2 final.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Worked great for me. A lot easier on the eyes…Thanks for sharing!

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

+1…I would use this.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

+1

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Any progress on this? I think several of us are very eager…Thanks!

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

same thing here.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

I can’t wait!!!

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

I’ve been looking for something like this too.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Any luck hacking a single search bar format or finding a plugin that will do that? It seems like a much cleaner look.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

I’m interested but I’m not a programmer

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 8 months ago]

Jeff: Does that work with BP 1.2?

I’m very interested in a feature like Hempsworth has mentioned. I was hoping BP-GEO would work but alas…it doesn’t:(

If anyone has any other sugguestions, I’m all ears…Thanks!

When your within Buddypress, can you click on Geo Search Setup under the Buddypress tab? Whenever I click on it, it returns me to the main admin homepage. Also, if I click on the Geo tab on the website homepage…same thing, it sends me back to the websites homepage:(

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 9 months ago]

Ditto. Anyone get it to work with WPMU 2.9.1 and BP 1.2? Seems like an awesome plugin.

[@schwooba Participant 16 years, 9 months ago]

Yep. I’m having problems. I’m running WPMU 2.9.1.1 and BP 1.2. In the group section, when I have TinyMCE enabled and I enter some text, I get this error “Please enter some content to post.” Any ideas?
