The hook you mention does not provide any arguments.
Perhaps you need to research how do_action works.
The hook I mentioned already provides the$user_id.Example:
function sultry( $user_id, $user_login, $user_password, $user_email, $usermeta ) { // do something with $user_id } add_action( 'bp_core_signup_user', 'sultry', 10, 5 );Please use the
codebutton when sharing code.Nobody can help you if you don’t explain the errors.
Please use gist when sharing large blocks of code.
If you share your code and the errors, somebody might be able to help.
Have you tried using the action hook in
function bp_core_signup_user?do_action( 'bp_core_signup_user', $user_id, $user_login, $user_password, $user_email, $usermeta );In reply to: Can admin add members?wp-admin > Groups > rollover a Group name > Edit > scroll down > Add Members

In reply to: Groups not displaying properlyIt’s something in your theme.
To confirm, switch to a WP theme like 2015 and see if the issue persists. It could also be caused by some other plugin or code that affects group layout.
You can always use browser inspection tools to find out where the white space is coming from.In reply to: Buddypress does not work right anymoreAjax calls need access to wp-admin.
You’ve blocked it so the ajax calls will not work.
And you see that in the areas you’ve mentioned. You’ll need to add this conditional to your whitelist check:
wp_doing_ajaxSomething like:
if ( ! is_admin() && wp_doing_ajax ()) {In reply to: Update 2.9.2 shrunk my avatarsSome other css code, perhaps in your theme, is extending that class to create round avatars.
You’re going to have to create or modify some css.
To find out exact info re the css, use a browser inspection tool.
In Chrome, it is: right click > inspect. In reply to: Update 2.9.2 shrunk my avatarsTry removing the css class for the div. Just use

There is lots of docs online about writing a WP widget.
You’ll find BP specifics in this file:

Perhaps Avada requires the markup that you are using, however here is the usual way:
<div class="bp-login-widget-user-avatar"><?php bp_loggedin_user_avatar( "type=full&width=200&height=200" ); ?></div>You might check the html that is returned in the avatar call; it may include code that is causing your layout issues. Or the css class that you’re using
Note: you’ll probably get a more useful response from Avada support.
Did you look in the
singletemplate files?
buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\single\Create a template overload of this file:
buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\members-loop.phpAnd then remove this code from the overload:
<?php if ( bp_get_member_latest_update() ) : ?> <span class="update"> <?php bp_member_latest_update(); ?></span> <?php endif; ?>In reply to: Excluding some WP basic roles from BP member loopThe code has been tested without issues on a dev site.
Do not use the wp-admin editor for making changes, due to the reasons you’ve stated.
‘corrupted’ is a very general term.
What entry did it create in your error_log?In reply to: Excluding some WP basic roles from BP member loopIt could go into your theme functions.php file.
In reply to: Excluding some WP basic roles from BP member loopYou can exclude roles from the members directory like so:
function steve_exclude_members_loop( $retval ) { if ( bp_is_members_directory() ) { $exclude_ids = get_users( array( 'fields' => 'ID', 'role__in' => array( 'editor', 'author' ) ) ); $retval['exclude'] = $exclude_ids; } return $retval; } add_filter( 'bp_before_has_members_parse_args', 'steve_exclude_members_loop' );Your other issues involve the other plugins you’re using and are more complicated and beyond the scope of these forums.
In reply to: Lost all bbpress rolesThese are the BuddyPress forums.
The bbPress forums are here.In reply to: get_permalink() returns false for every post listingYou should send these questions to BuddyBoss and / or LearnDash.
In reply to: Searching menu link fileNo. there is a separate listing for that label in the .pot file.
Follow the instructions in the documentation and just change that label.I believe it’s only $50 per month for ongoing support and updates.
You can get the plugin for a one month payment of $50.
And you get a 30 day free trial before making that payment.
So if it does what you want and only costs $50 – that is a good deal. You could try the s2member plugin, it might provide a solution.
In reply to: Profile fields to appear in directoryPlease use the
codebutton when sharing code. This is the relevant file:
\buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\members-loop.phpSome themes bundle their own version of BP files.
To find out if you’re in the correct file, try:
echo 'testing...<br>'; $test = bp_get_member_profile_data( 'field=la-empresa' ); var_dump( $test );If you don’t see ‘testing…’, you’re in the wrong file.
If you do, but don’t see the profile data, then there is an issue with that field or perhaps the value does not exist. In reply to: Searching menu link fileDid you look in the documentation?
