For the members loop, try using
bp_get_member_user_id()instead ofbp_displayed_user_id()which only works on profile pages.In reply to: Displaying email address in profile>I tried deleting the lineā¦

endif;You can use the theme approach by overloading a group template,
home.php, from a plugin.
https://codex.buddypress.org/plugindev/template-overload-from-a-plugin/Then in your overload, add a conditional at the top.
That should side-step switching themes issues for most themes.
afaik,
bp_friends_prime_mentions_resultsis called by the Activity component.
So why is it being called by comments on a WP post?The default avatars are coming from gravatar.com.
You can turn off gravatars – google it.
Or this might help: https://wordpress.org/plugins/bp-local-avatars/This is not a BP string:
Members Around the World
Find out where it comes from and then how to change it.In reply to: button only on member ‘s profileif( get_current_user_id() == bp_displayed_user_id() ) { etc.In reply to: Buddypress lost all activity stream postsYou can open a bug ticket here.

BP does not change menus based on logged in / out status.In reply to: BuddyPress disables login, log out and menuIt may be problem / conflict with your theme or another plugin.
To confirm – try switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2015.In reply to: BuddyPress Registration page redirectingIf you are logged-in, you cannot go to the register page.

In reply to: Edit registerpage germanIs the rest of your site showing German?
For just the register page, you could create a template overload of this file:
buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\members\register.php
and edit the text.In reply to: Adding Forum Application to client sideYou’re going to have to write a custom solution.
It’s doubtful anyone on these forums has needed such a front-end solution.
And your use of Ultimate Member with BP narrows the field even more.A decent developer should be able to recreate the functionality on the front-end.
In reply to: Remove bbPress notifications No Longer ParticipantFor bbPress – please use the bbPress support forums.
In reply to: how display content in submenu?Delete your call to
bp_core_load_template( apply_filters( 'bp_core_template_plugin','members/single/swap' ) );Use this call
function my_groups_page_function_to_show_screen_content() { bp_get_template_part('members/single/swap'); }Add these functions:
function luisa_register_template_location() { return 'path to your templates' . '/templates/'; } function luisa_template_start() { if( function_exists( 'bp_register_template_stack' ) ) bp_register_template_stack( 'luisa_register_template_location' ); } add_action( 'bp_init', 'luisa_template_start' );In reply to: Hide Group Title and Description in Group ListingCreate a template overload of this file:
buddypress\bp-templates\bp-legacy\buddypress\groups\groups-loop.phpIn your overload, remove whatever you like.
In reply to: Editing or customizing the buddypress admin toolbarafaik, the Dashboard link is added by your theme.
You should ask BuddyBoss about it.
It probably is only visible to site admins.Changing themes is easy.
Go to wp-admin > Appearance > ThemesWe cannot see your site unless logged.
Nobody is going to register – so create a user and post the username & password here.
You can delete the user later.In reply to: Editing or customizing the buddypress admin toolbarIf you just want to change labels, you should use a language file.
Another approach, put in your bp-custom.php :
function sr_gettext_with_context( $translated, $text, $context, $domain ) { if ( 'buddypress' !== $domain ) return $translated; switch ( $text ) { case 'Friends': return 'Network'; case 'Groups': return 'My Groups'; default: return $translated; } return $translated; } add_filter( 'gettext_with_context', 'sr_gettext_with_context', 51, 4 );You need to provide a temporary login if you want people to look at your site.
You can check for theme problems by momentarily switching to a WP theme like 2015 and see if your issues still exist.
Your forum url is odd… Usually it would be something like this:
/groups/group-name/forum/If you are running code that changes the url structure, try removing that code.
In reply to: Booking Appointments for Buddypress usersDid you try this?
https://wordpress.org/plugins/appointment-scheduling-and-booking-manager/What you need is not a simple plugin.
You may need a commercial solution or to hire a developer to write custom code.In reply to: Profile is not workingSo you enabled the Extended Profiles component in wp-admin > Settings > BuddyPress.
And now, on the front end, the Profile menu item does not work ?Have you checked your error logs?
Have you tried switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2015 to see if the issue is in your preferred theme?
In reply to: pass-strength-resultThe password strength meter is part of WP, not BP.
You can write a function to change the labels.
Example: https://nicola.blog/2016/02/16/change-the-password-strength-meter-labels/
