Have you tried asking on the bbPress support forums?
You can create a job listing here.
If you do, you may want to include answers to the questions that danbp asked above.
In reply to: Questions about BuddyPress1. Yes
2. You mean WP posts ? Yes, if you give them permissions.
3. They can ‘friend’ each other. There is a plugin re ‘Follow’.
4. Probably – but you’ll need to customize the Follow plugin.
You should install BP on a test site and start trying different settings and additional plugins.
After you have done that, you can ask more specific questions here.Your best bet is to continue to try and get help from the plugin authors.
Otherwise – you’ll need to be able to write code or hire somebody.
A coder could try to implement the methods used in the bbPress plugin you mentioned.
Or change the Subscription plugin so that it uses BCC instead of generating a separate email to each group member.Or use the Daily Digest option.
In reply to: /register links to /wp-admin or home page.I can see this: https://powerlily.io/register/
If you are logged in, you cannot go to the register page.
And that is standard behaviour. In reply to: [Resolved] New Page within Buddypress ProfileAdd a
do_shortcodecall to one of the..._contentfunctions.In reply to: Log In / Log out Widget RedirectionThe logout link is created on ~Line 84 of this file:
buddypress\bp-core\classes\class-bp-core-login-widget.phpYou need to change the
bp_get_requested_url()tosite_url()
<a class="logout" href="<?php echo wp_logout_url( bp_get_requested_url() ); ?>">However, hacking core files is not recommended.
The proper approach is to create your own widget and make the changes in your widget.
If you decide to write your own widget, also take a look at this file:
buddypress\bp-core\bp-core-widgets.phpIn reply to: Notification won’t go awayHave you tried switching momentarily to a WP theme, like 2016?
If you have and the issue still persists..
You can open a bug report here.
Be sure to include your versions of WP and BP.In reply to: Notification won’t go awayNotifications are stored in browser cookies. Can you check your cookies?
In reply to: Users have their own Woocommerce store? You’ll need a multi-vendor plugin like https://www.wcvendors.com/
In reply to: extending user sign up with geodirectory integrationYour task can be accomplished, if you can write BP code.
Sounds like you will need to hire a developer.
You can create a listing here.Instead of custom roles, you may want your developer to create member types.
In reply to: [Resolved] Problem with Register PageI can see it.
You won’t see it if you are logged in.In reply to: [Resolved] Error update 2.5.3 –> 2.7.3The two most common causes of this error are a corrupted .htaccess file and exceeding your server’s PHP memory limit.
The .htaccess file in your WordPress directory can become corrupted after you install a plugin or make another change to your WordPress site. All you need to do is create a new .htaccess file.
In reply to: Add Meta to Group Table?Use these
add_actionhooks.
Add the metabox:bp_groups_admin_meta_boxes
Save the meta from that box:bp_group_admin_edit_afterPlease use the
codebutton when sharing code.In your
whileloop, try:echo xprofile_get_field_data( 9, bp_get_group_member_id(), 'comma' );In reply to: bp_ajax_querystring filter not runingDid you try putting it in the plugin loader?
iow. the file that starts with the plugin meta info.
Remember that wp ajax requires access to wp-adminAre you checked to see if any other code is hooking that
do_action_ref_array? Maybe another plugin?
Or perhaps some other ajax-related code in your theme or another plugin?Maybe check to see if not passing the
$messageobject by reference in that hook makes any difference. In reply to: Duplicate QueiresCan you show the exact queries that you feel are duplicates?
Just becauseupdate_meta_cacheis called twice does not mean there are duplicate queries. In reply to: Forum IssuesNew Test Topic here – perhaps use it as the basis for a bug report re any problems for mods?
In reply to: Forum IssuesNow & then, I too have issues posting ( creating & responding ), sometimes with various warnings that aren’t warranted.
Things usually clear up later in the day. Also, turn on WP Debug and check your error logs.
It’s a rare person who writes their own theme, these days.
I’m no theme expert, but it doesn’t seem like the BP templates are being loaded.
You may want to check on how your theme loads templates and whether those methods are different than the ones used in WP default themes like 2015, etc.Have you read thru the links on this page; might provide some clues:

Try using the
bp_readyhook instead ofbp_init.Try adding the priority to the call:
remove_filter( 'bp_get_the_profile_field_description', 'wp_filter_kses', 1 );Try adding your attributes to the
$allowedtagsglobal.
