In reply to: Duplicate Signup Fields can’t be deleted
Check each one. If you have 3 sites, that might explain have 3 instances of the same field.
I don’t know much about multi-site.
Did you activate BP separately for each site?
Have you tried a network activation of BP?In reply to: Duplicate Signup Fields can’t be deletedYou could check the database.
Look at this table(your db prefix)_bp_xprofile_fieldsIn reply to: Show Menu Links to Not logged in usersBuddyPress does not ‘protect’ pages.
Did you try asking membership pro about your issue? In reply to: BuddyPress not appears in WP admin dashboardDid you look under Dashboard > Settings?
In reply to: Duplicate Signup Fields can’t be deletedAre you using a customized registration page?
Or any plugins or code re profile fields? In reply to: Issue with turning off notificationsBuddyPress does not include forums.
If you are using bbPress, please post in their support forums. In reply to: Duplicate Signup Fields can’t be deletedI cannot duplicate the issue.
To narrow it down, try momentarily:
– removing the captcha
– switch to a WP theme like 2020Do you also see duplicate fields when you go to Profile > Edit on the front end?
In reply to: Duplicate Signup Fields can’t be deletedSome fields are required and will say so.
Can you remove them from the signup fields?
Edit the field and uncheck ‘Signups’ – then try to delete. In reply to: Loading the members of your community. Please wait.To narrow down the possible causes:
– turn off lazy-loading, perhaps from a plugin or your theme
– turn off Google Maps – note the error re no google api keys
– turn off any minify settings, perhaps from a plugin or your theme
– try switching momentarily to a WP theme like 2020 and see if issues persistThe devsite settings are indeed strange.
I doubt anyone can diagnose the issue based on the info provided.
You could try some standard debugging.
You could try deactivating memberpress and / or switching momentarily to a WP theme like 202 and see if the issues persist – that will give you more info re possible causes. In reply to: SocialEngine to BuddypressI’m not aware of any such converters.
BP uses the same users as WP, so a SocialEngine to WordPress converter would get you started.
And I don’t know of any converters that do that.
There is this service which I know nothing about. For bbPress questions, please use their support forums.
In reply to: Close own forum topicsFor bbPress questions, please use their support forums.
In reply to: Rename template folderYou need to replace every call in the whole BP plugin.
In reply to: Users unable to change passwords within profileThis is a known bug. It will be fixed in the next release.
In your first section, you define
$members_argsbut you never use it.
For example:bp_has_members( $members_args ) ...In the second section, move the definition of
$includeinto the function.
Variables are not global unless defined as such. Those queries are all related to bbPress.
Have you tried posting your issue on the support forums for bbPress? In reply to: Custom Notifications BuddyPressWhy are you using
apply_filters_ref_array?
Try usingapply_filtersinstead.And afaik, this:
return $action;
Should bereturn $content; In reply to: “Change Password” not workingIn reply to: Register Issue with ElementorBuddyPress will not add support for Elementor any time soon, if at all.
afaik – there is an extension plugin for Elementor re BuddyPress.
Please contact them for more info.In reply to: Rename template folderYou could rename it -but then you would have to change every call to a path that includes that folder name. And redo your hacks every time the plugin is updated.
LH Buddypress Export Xprofile Data should do what you want.
Please contact the creator of that plugin with your issue. In reply to: I need some help hiding a few elementsIf you don’t want Friends and Messaging – go to wp-admin > Settings > BuddyPress and open Components and turn off Friends and Private Messaging.
BuddyPress does not provide Topics or Points, so you will need to figure out where they come from and contact the creators of that code.
In reply to: How to remove css customization? Please send questions re youzify to their support forums.
And / or send your issue to the creator of whatever theme it is that you’re using.
Your chance of finding a solution on the BP forums is very smallbtw- you can use your browser’s inspector tool to examine the css in context.
In reply to: buddypress subscriber can’t create passwordThis bug has been confirmed and will be fixed in the next release – probably in the next week or so.
