I totally agree with you, and would love to see fragment caching in BuddyPress (or more generally in WordPress)

I don’t really see why you think custom post types is a BP issue but then again maybe I just need a solid explanation of what benefits it would have towards the BP components. When I said I resolved all of my issues with BP I meant my personal issues and not the worlds! Everyone has different requirements, I have just fixed all of mine. Cheers!

@synaptic the development cycle for buddypress has been greatly accelerated in the recent revisions. the whole idea behind that is to foster more features and better functionality at a faster pace. nobody is trying to claim that buddypress is perfect. to the contrary we are saying that if you want to help, please do.
