I’m looking at my source code and am not seeing <div class=”signature”></div> wrapped around my sigs.
Here’s an example of a post:
<div class="post-content">
<p>signature line couldn’t be installed. reported: https://buddypress.org/forums/topic/new-plugin-buddypress-group-forum-extras/page/2?replies=46#post-43269</p>
It does not do to dwell on dreams and forget to live
-Albus Dumbledore
</div>
I do see this thrown into my header:
<style type="text/css">#item-meta-signature { margin-top: 50px } .signature { width: 75%; padding:5px 0px 0px 5px; border-top:1px solid #ccc; font-size:90%; color:#444; }</style>
Request:
Can you please wrap the signature in a <div> with a special ID or class so that we can style it appropriately?
Right now it just looks like part of the forum reply.
Thanks!
1.5 fixed my issues w/signatures.
thanks!!!

Voted the crap out of it – 5 stars!

doesn’t work with 1.2
in desperate need of some more widgets.
A nice feature would be to be able to suppress the built-in favoriiting of BP 1.2. I use a child theme off of this simply for aesthetics and know I could just remove that function template by template. But it’d be nice to just kill it with a switch.
The redundancy between BP Like and Favorites is keeping me from using BP Like.
Thanks,

In response to your points up top:
1)
+1 Favorites sometimes = bookmarks in social networking sites. We need to be able to offer this across all types of communication features.
2)
Theme developers need to be able to pull this info in with a loop. Maybe we can already?
3)What is the current state of Favorties plugin development, and is there something in the works that can accomplish the above?
There is the BuddyPress-Like plugin: https://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/buddypress-like/
The problem with BP Like is that it now competes with Favorites built-in to BP 1.2. I need to be able to turn off Favorites so that BP Like isn’t confusing/repetitive.
But really, this is something should be rolled into core.
Forums, yes, were part of an older web community – it was the sole way they communicated. With the advent of social networking came the creation of new ways to communicate. Forums were given less focus but they still have there place. Even today in Facebook you can clearly identify forum-esque features.
I don’t think BP has ever focused on forums. It’s always been on the activity stream/wire. Of course, forum topics are now tied to the activity stream – as they should be – but does not in any way give BP a “schizophrenic” identity.
Here’s my setup that works just fine:
WP 3.0a
BP 1.2.1
BP Documents: 0.3.0-beta
Thanks. Marked resolved.
Hi Peter-
I was just going to suggest icons for file types. I’m assuming this is what you mean?
Let me know if there’s any specific testing I can do for you.
Thanks,
~k~
I know this is an old topic, but do you guys know if this WP-SC is working WP 3.0a and BP 1.2? This is my first time digging into WP-SC and it doesn’t seem to want to take my modded .htaccess file.

lmk if you have questions
marked as resolved – moot point now.
@devrim, please mark as resolved
Thank you, Andy.
Marked resolved.
Same problem here.
Admin inbox just disappeared and is also labeled “Inbox 2”.
Kind of a big issue when stuff just starts to disappear.

@blackphantom you want me to do a rewrite of the prompt for you to help you out? I can’t develop but I can string a few quippy sentences together!
Just tested this in WP3.0a – works wonderfully. The best Twitter/activity stream partnership yet.
The only thing I would change is the first bit of dialogue to setup twitterstream at user accounts. some typos and not all that clear.
thanks!
Just to be clear:
This plugin ONLY works with BP 1.2 RC1
Thanks for this D, we were dying for this to be re-instituted.
