off topic I know, but I have already seen a few replys in the activity stream on this post that don’t show up as replys in this forum post so could cause some confusion – i.e. what is @djpaul refereeing to in relation to @jeffsayre – seen it in the activity stream but that will soon be lost & no longer be relevant to this forum thread.
Links in emails when someone replys on the activity stream aren’t working, just redirect to the activity stream.
whats the correct way to post code in the forums now? can’t seem to get anything to work.
In reply to: Buddypress with Studiopress Classic themes?sorry, cant post div tags for some reason…
In reply to: Buddypress with Studiopress Classic themes?if you look at the source code for one of your normal WP pages, you will see the page content area starts with
now if you look at the source of one of your BuddyPress pages, you will see:
``You need to replace the div tags on your BuddyPress pages with those your WP template files are using.
Also, I’d be pretty sure the template pack also enables the JS & ajax required for BP functionality but if I were you, I’d get the layout issues sorted first.
In reply to: Buddypress with Studiopress Classic themes?It’s the BuddyPress template files you added to your theme folder that need to be edited.
Any of those files that use should use the same div containers as your theme is using.
I think there is about 14 files but I’m sure you will find a full list here somewhere or in the readme of the buddypress template pack maybe?In reply to: Buddypress with Studiopress Classic themes?sorry, just looked again, looks like your theme uses div id=”contentleft” , try adding that to the required buddypress template files.
In reply to: Buddypress with Studiopress Classic themes?You need to close off the open div containers in:
wp-content/themes/church_40/members/index.phpI’d have to agree with @hnla here. It’s also too easy to leave a reply in the activity stream: https://buddypress.org/community/activity/
These replys don’t seem to get added to forum threads, so because of multiple posting areas, lots of useful info will easily be lost/looked over.In reply to: Buddypress version of wordpress 'mystique' theme?more or less, you can test it out over on:
http://mystique.bp-theme-converts.comI’ll zip it up if you want tomorrow.
The Visit Random Member/Group links in the buddybar don’t return randoms, just the directorys.
In reply to: BuddyPress and Mystique themeThats because there is no Mystique styles for BuddyPress in tour style.css & Mystique doesn’t recognise the BuddyPress pages.
You could add the styles yourself, or maybe an easier way, create a blank page in your wp-admin, call it activity & see if Mystique page styles are picked by your activity page then.
In reply to: BuddyPress and Mystique themeI thought you wanted BuddyPress to use the Mystique look & feel?
In reply to: BuddyPress and Mystique themetry
remove_filter( 'body_class', 'bp_get_the_body_class', 10, 2 );in your functions.php
In reply to: BuddyPress and Mystique themeSorry, I don’t have my copy here with me so can’t check how I did it now.
Yes, this would go into your themes functions.php
If you ask andy or lots others here should know, you need to disable buddypress body classes.
I’m presuming you will also have issues with conflicting javascript from the theme, I know I did.
I know someone else here on the boards was also working on this theme, maybe ask them.
In reply to: BuddyPress and Mystique themeyou are loosing the Mystique body class so anything you set in admin for site layout is being lost.
try something like
function fix_body_class() {
return false;
}
add_filter( 'bp_get_the_body_class', 'fix_body_class', 10, 2 );In reply to: BP Album+ || New Features Requests and DiscussionIn reply to: Testing new theme, Hybrid as a parent@vee_bee do you have ab URL I can see?
It comes with a front page template with a slider included.
In reply to: BP Album vs BP GalleryDon’t want to jump in on an argument, but do want to say that because BP Album+ is available for free download now, it is simple for theme developers to integrate into custom BuddyPress themes.
With BP Gallery being a paid download for now, I’d reckon not as many theme developers will support it as they might not have access to the template files?
In reply to: Testing new theme, Hybrid as a parentJust updated to support latest BuddyPress & the BuddyPress Album+ plugin.
In reply to: BuddyPress 1.2.2 registration emails?Thanks andy, just tested the fix from trac & can confirm it’s working as expected now.
In reply to: Hybrid Child Themes QuestionGreg, have you also got Hybrid in your sub blogs themes folders?
if ( !bp_is_blog_page ) { do this on buddypress pages }seens to do the trick, marking as resolved.
In reply to: in 1.2 Buddypress, the title is still off!I have been playing with this too,
https://trac.buddypress.org/ticket/2131#comment:2

}lets me use my theme frameworks title on non BuddyPress pages.
Looks like someone created a trac ticket, thanks.
