In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?
I’m still not getting any emails, but at least that error message indicates the plugin is working on some level in my setup.
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?Ah ok, I set up a moderator and the error is gone
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?Surely it should send to the group creator?
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?@group did not seem to do anything, but @mod resulted in an error message:

In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message? There’s a number of 404 redirect plugins, you could check them out maybe, however in my own testing I have found a few of them to be incompatible with Buddypress – redirecting valid bp pages as well as the legitimate 404’s
In reply to: member search and add mediaI’m not aware of any plugins that would allow you to do that.
WPML seems to be the most sophisticated translation engine, however it adds a lot of complexity to the site and using it with Buddypress tends to mean you will have a slow site.
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?I tested it, can’t seem to get it to work
In reply to: Possible bug? Registration pages “Hiding”Actually no, just me being stupid.
In reply to: Register and Activate pages don’t show on siteYes if you are logged in and you try to access it you go to the homepage
In reply to: Register and Activate pages don’t show on siteI can see your registration page, I can’t see your activate page, but the registration page goes to a registration form from where I’m seeing.
In reply to: Register and Activate pages don’t show on siteI see you’ve cracked it
In reply to: Register and Activate pages don’t show on siteI get a page not found error on that link, so it means you go not have a page called register for some reason.
This does work usually. Try going into pages and see if there is a page called register set up, IF not create that page, then link it into your menu and finally set up up as the Buddypress register page. That should do it, so long as you have got the main setting item set to allow users to register for your site.
In reply to: No Register/Activation PagesThis sounds very strange and must be down to a conflict of some sort. I’d try deactivating your plugins to see if that helps.
In reply to: going button on eventsThis sounds like a question for the developers of your events plugin, which plugin do you use? There will probably be a forum on WordPress.org for it.
In reply to: assign users to group based on roleSorry about that Dan
In reply to: No Register/Activation PagesNo they are there, not sure what your issue is but I would suggest a plugin conflict.
In reply to: assign users to group based on roleI’d like to know the answer too as I would like to automatically assign all new members a group
In reply to: MP3 upload profile fieldThe only thing close I have seen is BP Profile Widgets but this is a far cry from what you are looking for.
In reply to: Tagging Friends In BuddypressI’ve not seen a tagging plugin for Buddypress, I think the @Username option must be it.
In reply to: How Mediapress works: guide. If you view the gallery from the admin menu Admin>>Mediapress>>All Galleries you will see the shortcode to use already laid out.
In reply to: How Mediapress works: guide.I agree with you ronia, I have no idea why my members have to join a group before they can upload images to my photo’s gallery for all members, I do not know why they have to negotiate to that particular gallery in order to do so. I just want one gallery where all my site members can upload images they want to share and I want them to get there in one page click. I’d also like my members to be able to vote on images and for me to be able to set featured images for them to see first.
Is it such a big ask?
In reply to: How Mediapress works: guide.I think he is using a shortcode on that page that goes directly to the gallery in question
If you go to the admin menu and view the gallery from there you will be able to find the shortcode for that gallery. #once you have that shortcode you can add it to any page and it will imediately open up in that gallery
In reply to: forum on my website and considering BuddyPressbbpress is the forum component of WordPress, it can integrate in Buddypress Groups to provide them with forums but will also work standalone.
