Seems I gave you the wrong link, this is the one I meant to give you:
Use Peodit to edit your language file and create the mo file.
In reply to: Edit registration and activationThose messages are in the language file and so you can change them in the same way as you would for the messages in the registration page.
In reply to: Buddypress pages not showing in Menu sectionThat was it, thanks
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?Cheers @henrywright
In reply to: Displaying members roles in Members listIt seems to have uncovered an issue on my other site, I modified the rolename from Contributor to Member and that fixed the display, however two of my members are showing as Subscribers even though in the user list they have the role of Member. I wonder what is causing this?
In reply to: Displaying members roles in Members listcustom role, not customer
In reply to: Displaying members roles in Members listI tried it on another site with no editors and all were displayed, however, for that site I’ve set up a customer role of “Member”, but they were all displayed as “Contributor”
In reply to: Displaying members roles in Members listThat member is an editor, the only one on the site.
In reply to: Displaying members roles in Members listThanks Dan, that worked, except for the last user in the list, that one the role was missing
In reply to: Making Myself An Admin On BuddypressWell that second link does not seem to work, though I’m looking into it, it is trying to display the user role in various views, I’m trying to get the user role stated in the member list, which is the result of the members-loop file.
In reply to: Making Myself An Admin On BuddypressAlso I found this:

In reply to: Making Myself An Admin On BuddypressIn reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?@Mahendra start your own thread, don’t hijack this one.
You’ll be looking for something like Mediapress
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message? One additional feature I was thinking about, a bit of a leap, would be that ability of the user to configure their own user group to send mentions to, a subset of their friends that they may wish to send shouts to.
Also, currently the notification message includes the text @group, I was wondering about removing this to enable to nicer formatting for the message.
In reply to: How to add Captcha in Buddypress Register Form?try si captcha
In reply to: Edit registration and activationThis advice I got from William helped me change the text of the Registration page, I’m sure it will work you change other text messages in Buddypress:
This article may be of help to you to change that text http://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/make-your-wordpress-site-buddypress-ready/
Or you can use this one too with a plugin: https://webdevstudios.com/2015/06/02/creating-custom-templates-for-buddypress/
In reply to: How to add Captcha in Buddypress Register Form? You just need to find a capture that does work with the registration form. There’s plenty that do.
One feature of buddypress is the favourites, where posts in activity streams are remembered
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?Done
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?oh sorry, I’m not on Git, I’ll joinup now
In reply to: How Mediapress works: guide. This is the shortcode I used for my test – [mpp-show-gallery id=78]
IN your configuration the gallery id (in this case 78) will probably be a different number
If you create a page with the name of your gallery and add a shortcode similar to the above you will have a page that goes straight to your gallery.
Don’t worry about being embarrassed, it happens to me all they time lol We just have to persevere and it will come right.
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?I’d like some sort of acknowledgement that the message has been sent, also definitely need a reminder of which group notification commands are available somewhere on the page. So that newbiws know such a thing exists.
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?I’m seeing the @group notifications now, but they too are blank
In reply to: Can I @everyone when I message?Ah, think we are getting somewhere. to the @mod message, my moderator got a blank notification, there’s no text in it. I’ll just try it again to be sure.
Yep, @mod sends a blank notification, there is a blue circle notification, when you hover over it the drop down in blank and you cannot select it, when you select the blue circle it takes you to the notification page and there is a blank notification that you cannot read.
In reply to: Warning message when posting in groupsLooks like there’s a problem with the Community Junction theme. Try switching to 2015 theme and see if the error continues.
