Still can’t believe no warning is shown. Strange.
But fixed it by editing the input field, so only letters and numbers are possible to type.
And a message above the field.
BTW: I managed to edit the activation e-mail to include the username. But still no good solution.
I think Group-O-Matic could do this. You would need to setup some kind of pattern matching for the school names.
Interesting post. What if I don’t want to change the names of the different parts in the page title, but the order of these parts?
E.g. standard: “Sitename – Blog – Post” changed to “Post – Blog – Sitename”
Would that be possible with such a filter?
Basic adaptation of the standard theme. Perhaps a custom theme design sometime in the future. Moved the site from Nucleus CMS. Still tweaking here and there.
So my test site is here: http://testing.zenimot.org/www.zwangeredoos.nl/
And I tried moving it to http://www.zwangeredoos.nl/ (now showing my current Nucleus CMS powered website).
I got the dashboard/admin and the homepage working, but the special BP pages not (Internal Server Error 500).
So I would think some (underwater?) BP redirect functionality is not working correct. I probably got some setting not correct.
Where would I have to look for this? Or can I hack my way around this?
Jeff, thanks for the links. I should have looked around a bit before changing all kinds of stuff…
I got the stuff moved and followed some pointers from above links.
Right now the homepage is functional and the dashboard page.
But the specific BP pages don’t work e.g. /blog, /members, /groups and /blogs.
So I’m getting closer…
But not ready yet.
Any idea how to fix this last hurdle?
Thanks for the help!
I’ve de-activated the plugins and still had the problem.
Deleted everything and started a clean install.
Everything working fine now.
