after installing and activting the Bp chat i recieved this message and was blocked from accessing wordpress and m site

Fatal error: Call to a member function get_page_permastruct() on a non-object in /hermes/bosweb/web011/b118/ipg.sobscom/wp-includes/link-template.php on line 274

Delete the BP chat plugin folder in wp-content/plugins and it will stop that plugin and you’ll be able to get back in.

Then, you can test it on a test site and see why it’s not working right.

thanks a lot guys…i’ve experienced this with a lot of the BP plugins, links as well, had to delete that 1 as well. im using suffusion theme eyes i deleted it. really like the screenshots and was trying now to tweak it….it was ajax-chat plugin. how do i do the test site

It’s a bad plugin. Tested it, yet the owner fails to update and keep the plugin updated and correct.

Notice it has about 3 stars?

@gunju2221 3 stars for the BP Ajax-Chat Plugin which is different from the BP Chat plugin. It can get confusing with the similar names

It looks like the evolve chat plugin is pretty good, try that

yes im using the evolved chat now….actually like it…i have a whole chat site which i could add that to my WP site along with the phpbb i have. i was offered alo of applications to use for my site from my hosting. i want to have them all together so people dont have to make separate registrations for everything
