thanks!
i will try it and maybe will make special russian version for rutube
remember to add bpdev-simplepie first
hey nicola when turning on simplepie through the bpdev plugin admin i get the below error on the flickr profile page
Fatal error: Class ‘SimplePie’ not found in /home/ewm/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/bpdev-flickr.php on line 306
any ideas?
try to turn it off, bpdev plugins are still in beta.. have you installed it correctly?
hey i just added all 3 to my mu plugins folder and i get the menu for admin and simplepie, but there is no flickr menu, also i have the link to flickr on my profile but its all screwed up http://hyrxx.com/members/Hyrxx/flickr
hyerxx it does that because you’ve already installed light-box and bpdev-flickr load that for the second time,
if you look the code, there is the error that appear when you’ve not installed or turned on simplepie..
In BPDEV-ADMIN-MENU try to turn off and turn off these plugins update me if you can on bpdev forums
Here the solution, change this lines http://buddypressdev.org/forums/topic.php?id=15#post-58
or Download the new 0.91 version
my website is: http://www.realfam.com
I installed Version 0.92 of Flickr plugin…..
ok, on my actual public profile page when I click on “Flickr” I see this error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/realfamc/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/bpdev-flickr.php on line 333
Additionally, in the wp-admin I see the BPDEV Plugins menu option, when I click on it the “Thank you for using WordPress” box that is supposed to be at the bottom it now inthe center of the page and blocking some of the text. when I select all and copy/paste the text beneath that can not be sen reads:
Warning: ./cache/969ebb6942853d6ce3e721b0da764898.spc is not writeable in /home/realfamc/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/bpdev-simplepie/simplepie.inc on line 1773
any ideas?
have you installed bpdev-simplepie, on buddypressdeorg/forums there is a topic that solves your problem
Installed bpdev-simplepie,BPDEV-ADMIN-MENU, BPDEV-FLICKR 0.92.
Still no photos showing. It is saving my flickr settings now.
hmmm?
nicolagreco Yes I installed simplepie first, then the Admin panel, then flickr…..it all looks good, etc but getting that error. thanks. I will look for that post with the solution.
I did not find the topic with the solution on here. sorry
i found the post you are talking about on buddypressdev.org/forums. anyway the way the post reads it looks like using version 0.92 is the fix for everything…..thats what I am using and still getting the error…..now what?
this is the error and whats going on:
ok, on my actual public profile page when I click on “Flickr” I see this error:
Warning: Invalid argument supplied for foreach() in /home/realfamc/public_html/wp-content/mu-plugins/bpdev-flickr.php on line 333

Nicola,
BPDEV-FLICKR .093 Did the job. Working GREAT now.
Thanks
Mike
I think I will wait until all the bugs are worked out and then download a 100% stable, error free version…at the rate you are working on this, should not be too long. Keep up the good work.
The lightbox isn’t working for me in 0.93 Nicola. Am I missing something?
trent maybe you’re using some js code like prototype another lightbox or other mootools. try to switch off other js library
Ah…lightbox works on the actual “flickr” page, just not on the profile page. Maybe that would be a nice addition?
lightbox should works on the profile too..
Any ideas on why this is happening with the gray box that reads “Thank You For Using Realfam”? It ONLY happens on the BPDEVPlugins menu.
